That's because germ.io is not built for your manager - it's built for you. And for you, you don't want Gantt charts. You want to know (a) what's the next big idea you should be working on, (b) what information you'd need to get started working on this idea, and (c) whether it's all clear to start or you still have wait on some dependencies.
Don't take this the wrong way - we love Mr.Gantt almost as much as the next person. But a pile of task dependencies isn't a part of the germ.io that we're building. Because we want you to be able to put the focus on your ideas, turn them into action plans, and get things done. Not worry with clumsy graphs and swimlanes.
